CAV STANDARD FEATURES

 

 

Renegade pump driven Combined Agent Vehicles (CAV) feature a separate engine driven pump, poly water tank, poly foam tank and 500 lb. dry chemical systems (or other auxiliary agent). Ford F-550 chassis are provided for 100 gallon through 400 gallon sizes.  Ford F-750 or International chassis are used for 500 gallons or larger trucks.                                                                      

 

                                

                

 

PUMP

The diesel engine pumps feature hard anodized aluminum bodies with mechanical seals for long life pumping foam solutions.  Diesel engines from 34 HP to 60 HP with pump ratings of 180 GPM to 250 GPM.  Pump engines feature dual electronic remote control packages – one on the cab console and one on the pump panel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HYDRO-CHEM

The high performance bumper turret and twin agent handline includes Hydro-Chem technology for encapsulated dry chemical discharge.  The simplified controls are designed for 1-man operation from either inside the cab or at the pump panel.  CAV units can be designed to include a structural panel for water only fire fighting operations.

MODEL CAV-5100

This 100 gallon, 500 lb. dry chemical system has a diesel engine driven pump and a utility body.  This provides a low cost unit with the flexibility of a fire pump.

 

MODEL CAV-5300

This 300 gallon, 500 lb. dry chemical unit features a custom aluminum body, top mounted dual agent hose reel and 4-door crew cab.

 

MODEL CAV-2400

The U.S. Navy trucks below feature 400 gallons with 200 lb. dry chemical systems and 60 HP 250 GPM diesel pumps.  The poly body is light weight, corrosion and dent resistant.  The water and foam tanks are integral with the body - further reducing space and weight.
