Remanufacturing 

As with our other truck programs, any of our stock trucks or the customer's own vehicles can be remanufactured to a like new condition.  The remanufacturing program is a complete frame-up restoration of the ARFF truck that will result in a vehicle with an extended service life into the next several years.  Please view the  What Can Be Achieved  section of our web site for a more in depth description of this process.

The acquisition of a vehicle from Crash Rescue Equipment Service, Inc. could save an airport 50% or more of the cost of a new vehicle. And, it can be delivered in a shorter length of time. Given the economic climate of the aviation and airport industry in general are exposed to, the budget dollars saved can be used for the enhancement of other airport ARFF priorities.  The typical 1500 gallon ARFF truck can be remanufactured to an OEM state for a base price many hundreds of thousands less than a comparably equiped new truck. 

Another advantage to remanufacturing is that the customer sacrifices nothing in terms of long term service and support.  A remanufactured ARFF truck comes with a full one year bumper-to-bumper warranty with extended warraties available.  The Crash Rescue Service Department can further assist in long term maintenance issues and parts sourcing.
