 The RENEGADE TM-5100™ is a heavy duty twin agent system that meets minimum FAA agent requirements for Rapid Intervention Vehicles. It will fit most heavy duty pickup trucks and is a complete self-contained package featuring a 100 gallon Tri-Max™ pre-mix foam tank, 500 lb. dry chemical system, two 400 cu. ft. nitrogen cylinders, hose reel with 100 ft. of light weight twin agent hose and a Hydro-Chem™ nozzle.
The RENEGADE TM-5100™ is designed for larger, 1-ton pick-ups or other suitable vehicles. It can also be installed in utility beds or provided as a part of a custom fire apparatus body. The 500 pounds of PKW dry chemical agent can be dispersed continuously with the compressed air foam. This quick knock down capability along with the cooling and burn-back protection of the high energy foam allows for extinguishment of much larger fires than would typically be expected of twin agent systems. The 100 gallons of pre-mix foam agent provides nearly four minutes of continuous foam application with a stream reach of 65 feet or more. This 100-foot diameter pit fire with over 750 gallons of JP-8 jet fuel is extinguished by the TM-5100 in approximately two minutes. A 40% reserve of foam agent remained in the pre-mix tank after extinguishment. Even inexperienced fire fighters can confidently attack large fire with the Tri-Max/Hydro-Chem technology. The high-energy discharge provides a safe standoff distance and a clear view of the effectiveness of the fire stream.
